Bif Naked and Everlast to Perform at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver’s One-Year Anniversary Celebration

COQUITLAM, BC (October 7, 2014) – Hard Rock Casino Vancouver will be celebrating its first anniversary on Saturday, December 20, 2014 and to mark the occasion, Bif Naked will be performing with her band while Everlast will bring his special acoustic show to the stage in this exclusive concert event.

It was in 1996 when Bif released her self-titled album followed two years later by the platinum selling I Bificus and the Juno Award-nominated Purge in 2001. Her hits include “I Love Myself Today”, a reimaging of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” and “Spaceman” which reached #1 on the national charts and #2 on Billboard’s international charts and remains the highest-spun independent song in Canadian history. Bif’s 2009 album, The Promise was written and recorded while she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She has since become a motivational speaker inspiring others as she shares the story of her courageous battle. Last year after speaking at the University of the Fraser Valley, she was awarded an honorary doctorate.

When Everlast co-founded House of Pain with Danny Boy and DJ Lethal in 1991, the group’s frontman defied the stereotypes about white rappers with the release of their eponymous debut album. The multi- platinum selling album featured the hit single, “Jump Around”. After the group disbanded, Everlast pursued a solo career and released Whitey Ford Sings the Blues in 1998. The album produced the hit singles, “What It’s Like” and “Ends”. The following year, he won a Grammy Award for his collaboration with Carlos Santana on “Put Your Lights On”.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, October 9 at 10 am and are $39.50 (plus service charges) – Cabaret Seating with partial proceeds going to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. For more information and to purchase tickets, go to
