RICHMOND, BC (May 12, 2015)

The long-running and critically acclaimed tribute show, Queen – It’s A Kinda Magic will be bringing its updated production featuring an all-new international cast to the River Rock Casino Resort on Saturday, September 19, 2015.

Recreating Queen’s 1986 World Tour concert, Queen – It’s A Kinda Magic features all of the band’s greatest hits performed live … hits including “We Will Rock You”, “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “We Are the Champions”.

Painstaking attention has been paid to all the music … the iconic voice of Freddie Mercury, the amazing guitar solos of Brian May and the groundbreaking rock harmonies.

Last year, the coveted and complex role of Freddie Mercury was taken on by respected English performer Giles Taylor. Taylor’s accomplished career has seen him travel the world over performing with such artists as Gabrielle, Rick Wakeman and The Moody Blues. Taylor will be joined by Australia’s Richie Baker as guitarist Brian May and Kyle Thompson as drummer Roger Taylor and South Africa’s Steven Dennett as bassist John With the state-of-the-art sound and lighting and authentic costumes, Queen – It’s A Kinda Magic is as close as you’ll ever get to the real thing. The show is so good that it has attracted the attention and endorsement of Peter Freestone, Mercury’s best friend and personal assistant for twelve years. “I have not seen another show in the world do it better. Their name is well deserved,” said Freestone. “They truly are ‘a kinda magic’”.
